Important Notice for Postgraduate Students Admitted for the 2026/2027 Academic Year: Written Undertaking is a Prerequisite for Issuing University Orders
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research/Department of Research and Development has issued a notice to all universities and educational institutions announcing the application and admission regulations concerning the employment status of students admitted to postgraduate studies for the 2026/2027 academic year.
♦️Details of the Instructions:
*Condition for Issuing University Orders: The Ministry emphasized that university orders will not be issued to admitted students until the student signs and approves the written undertaking regarding their employment status.
*Consequences of Providing Incorrect Information: The Ministry will suspend the admission of any student found to have provided false information regarding their employment status (whether they were employed and it turns out they were not, or vice versa).
* Legal Undertaking Requirements: The undertaking stipulates that the accepted student is not employed by any government institution, public sector entity, or any entity not affiliated with a ministry, in any capacity whatsoever (permanent staff, contract, daily wage, lecturer). Should the contrary be proven, or any information concealed, the college or institute reserves the right to cancel the admission and take legal and administrative action against the violator.
Therefore, the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences urges all accepted students to promptly complete the attached form and have it officially certified by the Legal Department to finalize the admission procedures by August 11, 2026.
