The dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Basra University, Professor Dr. Sabah Mahdi Karim honoring one of the college's heroes from the fourth stage students and the player of the National Handball Team Ahmed Tariq Abdullah, is grateful for his efforts and diligence to follow up his studies and his solo performance .

It is mentioned that the national team presented important and championive matches during the qualifiers of the World Cup and won many strong handball teams except that their luck was not united in the decisive match and our student had the first role as he performed a performance that was recommended to him in Benan and he was decorated with mind A shirt with number 11.

From his side, the deacon pointed out that "The college embraces a wonderful collection of champions at the level of group and individual games and the best evidence is our student champion Ahmed Tariq and what he has presented in the recent matches, and in our turn we are fans and supporters of all talents and disciplines in the college in an effort to provide the best for sports in Basra and Iraq."
