Al-Maqqel University presents a gift of appreciation for the Department of Sports Education

The Presidency of the Investigation and Establishment Committee presented the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the Al-Maqal Al-Ahliya University, represented by the Chairman of the Committee and the Principal of the College, Dr. Hajam Shani, presented a gift of appreciation to the faculty of Sports College in Basra University, represented by Dr. Sabah Mahdi Karim .

This appreciation came to strengthen relationships between the two universities and the contribution of lasting cooperation between them, in addition to the latest prominent role he plays in developing the scientific and educational sector at the athletic level.

Shani is one of the most prominent scientists of physical education and sports sciences in the Arab world and its head professors in Iraq for his extensive  and rich experience, in addition to being the  former dean of sports education at the University of Basra and the founders of the college at the University of Al-Maqel.

And on his side, Karim mentioned "A generous initiative from our colleague and professor Dr. Hajim to value the efforts of the college's dormitory, and this is his great creation and in its role sports education seeks to develop sports by helping the community with teachers, coaches and experts, in addition to polishing the talents of students and players "N to achieve the best results in this sector."
