The Paralympic Committee conducts its training in the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Sciences

The Paralympic Committee in Basra conducted its training for the badminton team for people with special needs on the indoor sports hall in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, under the academic supervision of Prof. Dr. Makki Jabbar Odeh.

The committee is conducting its training under the leadership of coach Arshad Muhammad Abdullah, with the participation of six players, in preparation for the tournament to be held in the coming days in the capital, Baghdad, as part of the activities of the Iraqi Paralympic Committee.
This committee has a prior cooperation with the Deanship of the College in order to hold training exercises on the college stadiums, under the supervision of an experienced academic, to obtain information that keeps pace with the development that the Paralympic Games are going through.

For his part, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Sabah Mahdi Karim said, “The college is open to everyone and does not skimp on its stadiums or in scientific advice from the most skilled academics, and the presence of the Paralympic Committee on our stadiums came after a smooth coordination process. We support this generous champion category and wish them success in the tournament ".
