The College of Physical Education holds a workshop on physical therapy.

The Rehabilitation and Employment Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra held a workshop entitled "Physiotherapy and Its Role in Improving Quality of Life" as part of its efforts to enhance academic and applied awareness in the fields of physical and health rehabilitation.
The workshop was presented by Professor Salam Jaber Abdullah, a lecturer at the college, who discussed the most important modern methods of physiotherapy and its effective role in improving the health and functional status of individuals, especially those suffering from sports injuries or chronic diseases that affect their lifestyle.
The workshop was attended by a number of college professors and undergraduate and graduate students, who participated in scientific discussions that enriched the workshop topics and contributed to the exchange of experiences and information.
For his part, the Dean of the College, Professor Haider Awfi Ahmed, emphasized the importance of these workshops in supporting the academic process, pointing to the vital role of physiotherapy in sports and health fields, and its impact on enhancing the efficiency of athletes and improving overall quality of life.
