In the presence of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Haider Awfi Ahmed, a doctoral thesis was discussed at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra. The thesis addressed the impact of an educational approach using small games based on bodily-kinesthetic intelligence levels on developing the most important aspects of learning football for juniors.
The thesis, presented by researcher Hashim Mutab Taha and supervised by Professor Dr. Laith Muhammad Hussein and Professor Dr. Abdul Ali Jaafar Muhammad, demonstrated its importance in understanding the bodily-kinesthetic intelligence of junior players. Based on this, players can be classified into multiple levels. Furthermore, it aimed to develop an educational approach using small games to contribute to developing the most important aspects of learning football, taking into account the learner's bodily-kinesthetic intelligence level by relying on performance time rather than repetition. This will provide a better opportunity for learning.

The researcher called for the use and application of small-game competitive exercise components within the curriculum for teaching, training, and preparing age-group soccer teams in Basra Governorate. He also emphasized the need to conduct intelligence tests periodically on all players, given the important and fundamental role intelligence plays in the learning process, with the aim of classifying them according to their IQ.
