A scientific workshop was held at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra on interactive touch screens and their uses in the modern educational environment.
Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim,
and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Professor Dr. Haider Awfi Ahmed,
the Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the Educational Guidance Unit at the college, held a scientific workshop on Sunday, October 12, 2025, entitled:
"Interactive Touch Screens and Their Uses in the Modern Educational Environment."
The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Ali Raad Abdul Karim from the University of Basra - Karma Ali Colleges Complex. The workshop was held in the Scientific Discussion Hall in the College's Classroom Complex, with the attendance of a number of faculty members and graduate students.
The workshop addressed the importance of employing interactive touch screens in the educational process and their role in enhancing communication and interaction between professors and students, as well as their contribution to developing a modern, technology-based learning environment.
