A Step Towards Leadership in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Basra

In a distinguished achievement, the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra has received approval from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for its programmatic accreditation applications. This step is a clear demonstration of the college's ongoing pursuit of academic excellence and the achievement of comprehensive quality standards.

The Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Haider Awfi Ahmed, emphasized that this achievement stems from the college's vision and mission aimed at preparing highly qualified academic and professional cadres to meet the demands of the labor market and contribute effectively to community service.

His Excellency added that the college, through its scientific and administrative committees and under the direct supervision of the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim, has been keen to meet all academic accreditation and quality assurance standards, relying on its strategic plans and human and material capabilities.

Having achieved the first step toward full accreditation, the college continues its tireless efforts with all its staff to obtain final accreditation, affirming its affiliation with the University of Basra, one of the most respected and respected universities in Iraq and a true launching pad for international recognition.

Professor Dr. Haider Abdul Razzaq Kazim, Director of the Quality Division, concluded by saying:
